If you have made your PC to be a dedicated Windows Media Center machine, then you would greatly benefit from having Windows Media Center automatically start when you boot up the computer. By doing this, it’s ready to go as soon as Windows has finished loading, allowing you to begin enjoying your media sooner.

1. Open Windows Media Center.

2. Go to Tasks and select Settings.

3. Select General.

4. Select Startup and Window Behavior.

5. Check the Start Windows Media Center when Windows starts checkbox.

6. Select Save.
