Google Images: Use License Filters to Find Images You Can Reuse

Google Images makes it easy to find images that can be reused. This is helpful if you are searching for images that are under GNU Free Documentation license, Creative Commons, or in the public domain

1. Go to Google Images.

2. Click the Advanced Image Search link.

3. Input the desired criteria that you are searching for in the Find Results section.

4. Go to the Usage Rights section and use the associated dropdown to select the desired filter. Choices are: not filtered by license, labeled for reuse, labeled for commercial reuse, labeled for reuse with modification and labeled for commercial reuse with modification.

5. Click the Google Search button.
