		<description>I got it all rite, For Window 7 
1. Open start
2.Control panel
3. Folder options ( if there isn&#039;t one, type it in search box on the right top corner) 
4.Choose &quot;Show hidden files and folder&quot;
5.Go to the view dialogue box, ( u might already be in it so no worries)
6.Then scroll down and click on DEFAULT
7.EUREKA!!!

		<description>Tried all the above and did not work.
The I chose &#039;Organise&#039; from the pulldown menu in Windows explorer while I had a specific folder open with images that should show thumbnails but didn&#039;t.
The I chose &#039;Folder and search options..&#039; and then the tab &#039;display&#039;(second from the left) At the bottom of that window I chose &#039;reset default settings&#039; and then &#039;OK&#039;
My thumbnails are back, but I still don&#039;t know what option did the trick!</description>
