Windows 7: Using Desktop Slideshow to Change Your Wallpaper
Desktop Slideshow is a Windows 7 feature that changes the user’s wallpaper at a preconfigured interval. This is great for people that find themselves easily becoming bored with staring at the same wallpaper everyday (or hour!).
1. Right-click on the Desktop and select Personalize.
2. Go to the bottom of the resulting window and select Desktop Background.

3. Use the Picture location dropdown to select the the desired directory or click the browse button to go to a different location.
4. Use the checkboxes by each image to select those that you wish to be in the Slideshow.

5. Use the Picture position dropdown to select how the image is to be displayed (Fill, Fit, Stretch, Tile or Center).
6. Use the Change picture every dropdown to select the interval that you wish the wallpaper to be changed to a different image (10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 1 day).
7. If you want the images to appear in a random order, check the Shuffle checkbox.
8. If you are using a laptop, check the When using battery power, pause the slide show to save power checkbox.
9. Click the Save changes button.
