Rock Band (PS3) – Invite more users while keeping current band members (online)

Are you a rock band-aholic like me? I promise, i won’t tell anyone. This recipe is for PS3 Rock Band users that play the online quickplay. This recipes explains how to add more online players in Multiplayer Online Quickplay mode while still keeping the current band members a part of your band.


Sometimes its hard to get a full band online right away (ie week nights, trust me! ), so you have just play w/2 or 3 players. This recipe will explain how to add that 1 or two missing band members while still keeping the current members.

1. After finishing a song, go to New Song.

2. Now at the Song Selection screen, just hit O to go back or (red on guitar, etc). This will bring you back to the character selection screen and will still retain the current band members and also let you invite or find more rockers.

The key is to NOT exit after song; you just disconnect if you do.
