If you have fallen in love with Google’s web browser and are ready to use it all the time, here’s how to make it your default browser.

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. Click the wrench icon in the upper-right corner of the toolbar and select Options.

3. On the Basics tab, go to the Default browser section and click the Make Google Chrome my default browser button.

4. Click the Close button.

Does not work. No matter what, IE kicks in every time you click a link.

Just fixed this in Vista. Right click chrome and run as an administrator. Then open up options and make chrome the default browser and the text will go green. Job done!
