By using the Fit to Width setting on pages that are wider than your browser window, Opera's rendering engine reformats the web page, keeping you from having to use horizontal scrolling.

You can browse in Normal mode and activate Fit to Width when you need it by going to the menu, clicking View and selecting Fit to Width.

If you find yourself constantly having to do the above state, you can set Opera to browse in the Fit to Width mode as the default.

1. Go to the menu, click Tools and select Preferences.

2. Select the Web Pages tab. Check the Fit to width checkbox.

3. Click the OK button.
