Firefox 3's Smart Location Bar recommends possible matching sites based on what has been typed in the Location Bar. These recommendations include sites from your bookmarks and from your browsing history. By default, the number of recommendations is set to 12, but you can modify this number to better meet your needs.

1. Open Firefox 3.

2. In the Location Bar, input about:config.

3. Click to get past the warning message that appears.

4. Locate the Preference Name browser.urlbar.maxRichResults.

5. Double-click it and change the value to the desired number of recommendations to display.

6. Restart Firefox.
