You can schedule your computer to start up or wake and shutdown or sleep automatically at certain times on weekdays, weekends, everyday or a certain day of the week.

1. Go to System Preferences.

2. In the Hardware section, select Energy Saver.

3. Click the Schedule button.

4. To set the time for starting your computer, check the Start up or wake checkbox and used the dropdowns to select when the computer is to start. To set the time for shutting down or entering sleep mode, check the second checkbox and select either Sleep or Shut down from the dropdown. Use the corresponding dropdowns to select when the computer is to shutdown or sleep.

5. Click the OK button.
