Leopard: Announce the Time

If you find yourself losing track of time when you’re on your Mac, you can set Leopard to announce the time.


1. Go to System Preferences.

2. Select Date & Time from the System section.

3. Select the Clock tab.

4. Check the Announce the time checkbox. Use the dropdown to select when you want Leopard to announce the time, choices are On the hour, On the half hour, and On the quarter hour.

5. Click the Customize Voice button to customize the voice settings.
