Thank you – that was helpful. The handout option was hidden when I choose print and I had to open my print out option more to see the handout option.

If any one is still having problems like I did then follow the steps but instead of printing click PDF and in the drop down menu select save as PDF – save it quickly on your desktop (this file will only be used for printing)
open the file in finder, It will open in preview with multiple slides on each page and then print from there.
