I also wanted to install the server with the basic necessities nothing that&#039;s over kill no games ect just a full fledged server.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Is there a recipe that I can paste in the Ubuntu terminal to do this?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I would like to install everything from source if that is possible, if not then apt-get or any way possible I really need to set this server up right were it can go at lightning speeds.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Any help would be greatly appreciated.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks</description>

		<description>Awesome, thanks for that!  I installed KDE to try it (10 years since I&#039;d last used it) and all the KDE applications were made default under Gnome.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I think I&#039;ll stick with Gnome, it was much much faster on a high spec box than KDE.</description>
