If you're tired of the default theme on Ubuntu (Human), you can put a little more snap in your desktop by using the Ubuntu Studio theme.

1. Open up a terminal window.

2. Input the following command and hit Enter.

sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-desktop


3. Enter the administrative password and confirm that you wish to install it.

4. Go to System, mouseover Preferences, and select Appearance.

5. From the Theme tab, select the UbuntuStudio icon.

6. Click the Close button.

7. Right-click the desktop and select Change Desktop Background.

8. Select from the three added Ubuntu Studio backgrounds.

9. Click the Close button.
