Wow YOU ARE AWESOME MAN —-The method worked like a charm —:)
i hve sp3—- main thing is RESTART after instaliing wmfdist11.exe n then restart again after installing wmp11.exe. Keep internet shut off if u can. Enjoy wmp11!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say THX allot!!! Windows Genunie really is a pain in the #”!. I’m preparing a image which will be installed on 50 machines. All of these 50 machines has a license and is genunie, but nooo – I cant install media player. Thx, you just fixed my problem and made my day better.
