IE7: Set Current Web Page as Home Page

How to set the currently visited page as Internet Explorer’s home page is a common request for new users of IE7. This tutorial will show how this is done.


Changing your home page in IE7. These steps will show you how to set whatever is your current page of your browser to your home page.

1. Open IE7 and visit the page you want to be your home page. I’ll be using tech-recipes.com as an example.

2. Click the Home icon which is the first icon in the toolbar near the upper right hand corner of the browser window.

3. Select Add or Change Home Page

4. A window will appear that gives you several options for setting your home page. Your choices may depend on if you have multiple tabs open or not.

5. Selec your desired choice and confirm by pressing Yes.

    This does not work so people dont bother wasting your time I tried it several times.

      I tried and it works. It definitely works for IE7
