PS3 – How to use Bluetooth Remote as Controller in Games

Posted June 15, 2007 by Jimmy Selix in Games

This recipe explains how to easily use your bluetooth remote control in games. Sometimes its just fun to try. 🙂

To use your Sony bluetooth remote control in PS3 games, do the following:

1. Start the PS3 using your remote (this way no PS3 controller takes the Controller 1 slot)

2. Start the game w/the remote.

3. Once the game loads and starts, hit the PS button and go to Reassign Controller.

4. Change the controller from 7 to 1. Now your Remote Control can be used in games! Games that use the Analog stick for movement, obviously won’t control since the remote has no analog buttons..

Enjoy!
