7-Zip: Remove Items from the Explorer Context (Right-Click) Menu

If you have 7-Zip integrated with the shell context menu, it adds several options to the right-click menu. Even if you utilize the cascaded context menu setting, you still have to wade through the various options. A better approach is to narrow the possibilities by only selecting the options you use to show up in the context menu.

1. Open 7-Zip.

2. Click Tools and select Options.

3. Select the Plugins tab.

4. Select 7-Zip from the list of Plugins and click the Options button.

5. Under Context menu items, uncheck all options that you do not use.

6. Click OK.

7. Click OK to close the Options window.
