By default, Safari for Windows saves downloaded files to the Desktop. This can create a big mess of your desktop if you download lots of files from the internet. To change the location that downloaded files are saved to, follow these steps:

1. Open Safari.

2. Click Edit and select Preferences.

3. Under the General tab, use the Save downloaded files to dropdown and select Other.

4. Browse to the desired location.

5. Click OK.

6. Close the Preferences window.
