Finding open index pages, directories, or folders is often used by hackers to gain access to information. Often these open directories contain pictures or movies that were not meant for public viewing.

Google is a well sharpened tool. Let’s use it.

intitle is a google limiting term that searches for words or phrases only in the titles of pages. The structure of this would be:

intitle:searchterm

When you realize that most open directories on the internet have “index of” in their title, it makes searching for these directories very easy. The following link will provide you will tons of open directories filled with jpg files:

intitle:”index of” jpg

If you combine this will additional search terms, it’s amazing some of the stuff you might find.

intitle:”index of” jpg wife

Enjoy! Anybody else have any other suggestions?
