Skype: Disable Promotions, Tips, and Help Messages from Displaying

Tagged: Windows By default, Help, Skype tips and Promotions are displayed at the bottom of the Contacts and Call Phones tabs on the Skype interface. If you’re like me, you’d prefer to not have these messages showing up. To disable these messages, follow these steps:
1. Click Tools and select Options.
2. On the left side, select Notifications.
3. Under Notifications, select Alerts & Messages.
4. Uncheck the Promotions and Help and Skype tips checkboxes.
5. Click Save.
