Quattro Pro X3: Change the Timed Backup Interval

Timed backups can be a real lifesaver, especially if you are spending long periods of time on that important spreadsheet. If disaster strikes (power outage, software crash, etc.), you can revert to the latest backup and go from there instead of starting all over. By default, Quattro Pro sets the timed backup interval for every 10 minutes. If this is not to your liking, you can change the interval by following these steps:

1. Click Tools and select Settings.

2. In the left pane, expand Application and select File Options.

3. Make sure the Timed backup every checkbox is checked. Input the desired value for the timed backup interval into the corresponding textbox.

4. Click OK.
