Evolution: Automatically Create Address Book Entries for People You Respond To

Utilizing Evolution’s Automatic Contacts, you can easily add someone to your address book by simply responding to their email message. To use Automatic Contacts, follow these steps:

1. Open Evolution.

2. Click Edit and select Preferences.

3. In the left pane, select Mail Preferences.

4. Click the Automatic Contacts tab.

5. Under Automatic Contacts, select Automatically create entries in the addressbook when responding to mail.

6. Select the Address book where Automatic Contacts will create the entries from the dropdown.

7. Click Close.
