Gmail will display little RSS feed sniplets above your gmail content. I personally do not like it. It seems very ad-like to me. If you want them removed, Google has supplied an easy way to turn it off.

I like my RSS feeds in my RSS feed reader, thank you. I'll keep them out of my email client for now.

Here is how to turn off the RSS web clippie thing in Gmail:

1. Log into Gmail
2. Click the Settings link in the upper right-hand corner
3. Click the Web Clips link
4. Uncheck Show my web clips above the Inbox
5. Click the big Gmail icon to take you back to the main gmail screen. The web clips should be gone.
