Ok if it is an older 2003 “template” .POT then you need to first SAVE it as a new 2007 THEME…then it allows you to make it default

What version are you running? When I right click on any theme in the Design tab, I am given the option to set it as the default theme.

everything went according to your instructions, but i neve got or saw an option to: “Set as Default Theme”

didn’t work for me- there was no choice for “select Set as Default Theme”
i only could make a theme appear in pp, but no way of making it my default.
any ideas would be appreciated.
