This tool allows the user to monitor CPU, memory, network activity, and disk activity all at once. This new monitor gives the user an instant view of the performance of the various facets of the vista system.

My favorite revamped new feature in vista is the Reliability and Performance Monitor. This allows you to follow the activity of several aspects of your system all at once — disk, network, CPU, and memory.

You can find the performance monitor through several different methods. Here are two of the most direct methods.

1. In the Start Menu Search Box, just start typing Reliability and it will appear in the menu.

2. You can jump to it through the run box. Hit winkey+R to open the RUN box and then type perfmon.exe
