iPod Shuffle: Jump to the beginning or end of the playlist

The controls on the iPod Shuffle are elegantly simple. With simplicity comes limited control (there is only so much real estate). With 200+ songs on the device, control freaks may find it frustrating to navigate. This quick shortcut will jump to the beginning of the playlist.

To jump to the beginning of the playlist on your iPod Shuffle, simply give the play/pause button three taps.

Since the forward and backward buttons wrap around (I wish the clickwheel on my 5G did, too), you can get to the end of the playlist by clicking back once from the beginning.
