I want to get rid of the squiggly red lines under my misspelled words in Microsoft Word 2007. Here is how to do it.

Squiggly red lines destroy my concentration. I know I can not spell. Quit reminding me!

1. Click the Orb in the upper left hand corner

2. Click Word Options at the bottom of the menu

3. Click Proofing in the left column

4. Uncheck Check spelling as you type

5. Click OK
