i can create the network but can't send files to other computers in my network. could any one help me with the file transfer

I have two laptops with vista and they with ad hoc will not share internet connection want can i do so they will share.

i tried this proecess but evrutime it is saying windows cannot create adhoc network..cud u tell me why??
