The wii uses an internal internet browser to communicate through the internet. By emulating this browser, you can view the wii shop from your browser.

Hats off to this guy. I wanted to do the exact same thing but still have not been able to get my hands on a wii yet.

The wii uses a browser to communicate. By emulating this browser with firefox, you can surf the wii shop.

The previous tech-recipes on the use of this tool is also killer.

3. Click Tools
4. Click User Agent Switcher
5. Click Options -> Options
6. Click User Agents
7. Click Add
8. Description: wii
9. User Agent: Opera/9.00 (Nintendo Wii; U; ; 1038-58; Wii Shop Channel/1.0; en)
10. Click OK X 2
11. Click Tools again
12. Select User Agent Switcher
13. Select wii

Hello, my name is Ed and I just want to say that no one can give some Wii points card numbers to a single dad of 1, come on please I need some Wii points for my son. You all should at least have known about the economy going down hill it's hard for me to get a babysitter because I only have 1 job and if I get another I would barely see my son. I am asking you all to please email me or send Wii points to me or send them to their Wii, please I just want to give them a good Christmas they already have a Wii and a wireless connection I want to buy him some games and give them Wii points and other nice things.(email: edwardstefanovich@yahoo.com) (Wii number: 7944-9181-6187-4556) (In the future) {PLEASE I just need some} Now I have to go before there is a big electric bill.

maybe if you spent more time working and less time bitching, people would take you serious. If you really wanted to give your son a "good christmas" you would consider less spending throughout the year and not afford time whining and begging on a random web page about how poor you are.

This is so sad that you would even make such a ridculous plea for Wii points??? THAT IS SO STUPID. I work with kids whose families struggle to get them basic needs like soap & toothpaste... A good holiday has nothing to do with a kid getting Wii games & if to you it does, you might try begging for someone to teach you morals & values. If your son believes this, he is a brat... Get his rear end off the couch playing video games & take a drive to look at Christmas lights while TALKING!!!, go for a walk together, go have a catch, volunteer at a soup kitchen & let him feel good about himself. Besides, if everyone is aware that the economy is tough now, why would anyone have extra points to just give away??? Stop playing the poor me on the pity pot routine... money is tight for EVERYONE, not just you. You are not the only single parent out there... try getting a second job part time during the hours your kid is sleeping...people do it everyday...it would require a bit more effort than writing a pathetic post begging for hand outs... If you smoke cigarettes, QUIT, if you have gone out with friends drinking or whatever, stay in & have friends over... you can still have a great time & drink but not spend so much money...Brew your own coffee, clip coupons, whatever... it doesnt take much to save a few bucks over the year so you are prepared for holidays...PRIDE, don't take this as a mean answer but rather a wake up call to teach your son something of value.

    Ed,

If you are THAT poor, why are you paying to have a wireless internet, or the internet at all? That's what is wrong with our world today ... they want to have it all, but can't afford to have it ... makes no sense to me!
  • wii lover
he has wireless internet he needs it to let his son have wii internet if you dont have a wii then shut up!
  • Quatroking
Not poor, 'cause if you were, you wouldn't have a Wii. FAILURE.
