In the new vista photo gallery, thumbnails pop and get bigger during mouseover. This can be annoying when trying to scan through a large series of pictures. Here is how to control that feature.

When a user places the mouse pointer over a thumbnail in the new vista photo gallery, the thumbnail grows and gives a larger preview. This feature is actually really nice eye candy; however, it can be annoying for power users. Here is how to disable it:

1. Open Vista Photo Gallery
2. Click the File menu
3. Click Options
4. Uncheck the Show picture and video previews in tooltips check box
5. Click OK.
