XP: Unable to Send Pictures via E-Mail
Recently I have seen several systems develop errors when trying to use the resize feature when attempting to send pictures through email. This errors appear after clicking on “e-mail this file” in the Pictures Task pane.
I am unsure why the recent increase in problems dealing with this microsoft xp feature. When people notice this error, they click the “e-mail this file” in the Pictures Task pane, and then several errors may occur. Often, for example, the Send Pictures via E-Mail window never appears. This is what it should look like:

This prevents the user from being able to automatically resize pictures when emailing, for example.
I believe many of these problems are from people disabling the picture preview to protect against the WMF exploit. Guess what? That has been patched so we can use our trusty picture preview once again.
1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Paste this into the text field:
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll
4. Click OK
5. A message box will appear saying the file was correctly registered.
6. Reboot.

I am using vista and when trying to email a picture a blank screen comes up.
I did copy and paste regsvr32%windir%system32shimgvw.dll
it said: The module C:windowssystem32shimgvw.dll was loaded but the entry point dllregister was not found.
What now?
