First things first, you need a newer sony ericsson phone. All that i've owned recently have been unlocked and debranded (no carrier customizations; like i bought from Sony).
Next thing to do is to go over to http://yamigo.com and register an account. Yamigo is basically a server that lets you chat with your AOL, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo buddies on your phone using the single client.
After you have registered your account; you will need to setup the options on your phone:
here is what you need:
Username: (your yamigo username and password)
Password:
Server: http://www.yamigo.com/wv/control
Internet Profile: your data account
Once you log in for the first time, your buddies will be pulled down from yamigo. You can also opt to get news/sports/info sent via chat messages too.
The best part, ITS FREE!!!
enjoy!
