Dreamweaver: Adjust the Brightness and Contrast of an Image

You can use Dreamweaver to modify the midtones, shadows, and highlights of an image. This is helpful in correcting images that are too light or too dark. This Tech-Recipe describes how to adjust the brightness and contrast of an image.


1. Open the page containing the image.

2. Select the image.

3. Click Modify and select Image then select Brightness/Contrast.

4. In the Brightness/Contrast dialog box, drag the Brightness and/or Contrast sliders to adjust the settings.

5. Click OK.
