Excel: Change the Color of a Worksheet Tab
You can change the color of individual worksheet tabs to make them stand out from the rest. For example, you could make Sales the color green, Expenses the color red, Assets the color black, etc.
1. Right-click on a tab in the tabsheet at the bottom of the current worksheet.
2. Select Tab color and select a color from the palette.
3. Click OK.
The active tab will always show a default color, with a colored line underneath while the inactive tabs will fully display their chosen colors.
