The new animations in vista are really beautiful. If you want to slow them down to really make your visuals pop, this will show you how to do it. Embrace the eye candy!

The vista graphics are really wonderful. From minimizing and maximizing to flip-3d, vista's new look is really sweet.

If you really want to show off the animation effects, you can use a registry hack to slow them down.

1. Open the registry editor
2. Browse to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
3. Create a new 32-bit DWORD Value
4. Name it: AnimationsShiftKey
5. Double click on this to set the value to 1
6. Log-out and back in or reboot to see the effect
