Vista: How to Change Picture Associated with Domain Account

In Microsoft Vista, accounts have a picture associated with them. This includes domain accounts which was not true for Windows XP. To change the picture associated with your account, use the steps below.

1. Click Start.

2. Click the image which shows for your account. This will open the User Accounts applet.

3. Select Change Your Picture. Either select from the list of images or click Browse for more pictures, and select one of your own.

The new image will then be used on the Start menu and logon screen.
