I hate how mozilla firefox by default junks up my desktop by placing all my downloads there. This tutorial will describe how to change the location where download files are placed.

I love firefox, yes, I do. However, there is one of the first things I change.

Change the Location Where Downloaded Files are Placed:

1. In firefox select the Tools menu
2. Click Options
3. Click the Downloads tabs are the top of the Options window
4. Here you can select if you want firefox to "Ask me where to save every file" or browse and select the directory you want firefox to use.
