How To Email an Excel Workbook
This tech-tutorial describes how to email an excel workbook to another user. Instructions are included for recipients with or without excel.
If the receiver has excel do the following:
- Choose File, Send To, Mail Recipient (as Attachment).
Your e-mail program launches with the worksheet as an attachment.
If the receiver does NOT have excel do the following:
- We need to send the worksheet as the body of the e-mail instead of an attachment.
Choose File, Send To, Mail Recipient.
Finish up and Enter the recipient e-mail information and enter any additional text in the body of the message. Then click Send.
