Flickr Hack to See Comments/Activity On Your Photos for Longer than One Month

Posted March 18, 2006 by MickeyMouse in Internet

This tech recipe describes a quick way to view all comments left on your photos no matter how long ago they were left.

Flickr allows you to see the comments (or activity) on your photos over a certain period of time. It defaults to something very short, like a few hours.

Looking at the URL for the dropdown box to select the activity over the last day, you can see that the URL can easily be manipulated to select ever how many days you wish.

http://www.flickr.com/recent_activity.gne?days=1

Here are the step-by-step directions to view your activity longer than a month:

1. Log into flickr.com
2. Copy and paste this link into your address bar, and hit Enter:

http://www.flickr.com/recent_activity.gne?days=1000

I have selected one thousands days, but you can change the 1000 above to how many days you wish.

Enjoy checking up on all those comments and activity that you missed.
