Google: How to Enable +1

Google is developing a new way for you to share recommendations with your friends and family called +1. It allows you to mark recommendations that will display in the search results to help your friends find relevant and useful information

First, you will need to have a Google Profile. If you don’t have one you can create one at http://profiles.google.com. Once your profile has been created, follow these steps to enable +1:

1. Make sure that you are signed in to your Google account.

2. Go to http://www.google.com/experimental/index.html, where you will find Google’s Experimental Search page.

3. Go to the +1 button section and click the Join This Experiment button.

Now when you go to Google to search, you will see the +1 button next to each site in the result set. When you find one you like, simply click the +1 button. Now your friends will see it marked in their result sets of related searches.

All of your +1′s can be seen on your Google Profile on the +1′s tab, where you can delete the ones that you’ve changed your mind on.
