Everybody loves the sidebar. Sidebar! Sidebar! Here's how to turn it on.

Since hack_vista is burning up tech-recipes with a bunch of tips... I decided to share a quick one as well.

Love it or hate it--the sidebar is in this build of vista. However, it is not turned on by default. Here's how to do it.

Turn on the Vista Sidebar in 5308:

    1. Click Start
    2. Click All Programs
    3. Click Accessories
    4. Click Windows Sidebar


You can control if it opens by default at windows startup through the sidebar selection in the control panel.

Sadly, you can not yet use the gadgets from: http://microsoftgadgets.com/
