I love flickr, but I often find default format annoying. This little URL hack will allow you to view the photos in a quicker, alternative format.

I love surfing through flickr photos. However, the default viewing format is so annoying to me. Thanks to one of my office co-workers, I found out about this alternative way.

How about an example…

This guy does excellent photos:

Just add surf to the end of the URL and notice the difference:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/santu/81903269/surf

To go into surf mode, just click on a photo where you can see the comments. Adding “surf” from there usually works.

The alternative “surf” method is easier for me to skip around a view what I want to view.

Try it out. It’s a fun little flickr hack.
