when i open a picture of my friend in my facebook account, it will automatically downloading it. what should i do to prevent automatic dowloading?

Your instructions did not work with Windows7 and Outlook 2007

To download Pictures Imbedded in Emails Automatically in Windows 7/Outlook 2007:

1. In Outlook 2007 click on the Tools tab and on the drop down menu click on “Trust Centre”

2. In the next window on the left hand side of that menu you should see the button “Automatic Downloads”, select that.

3. Where it says “Don’t download pictures automatically in HTML in email messages or RSS items” uncheck the box.

4. Make sure that box is no longer checked and then select the “OK” button at the bottom

Just to dispel the rumours about spammers being “more likely” to spam you, consider the following rule of thumb – once you get on a spam list you ain’t ever getting off – you’ll get the same spam if you download the image or not.

2. Click Tools

4. Turn it off an click Okay
