Excel: Y-Axis Label Text is Missing or Truncated

I just found this nasty little bug. In excel if you use certain fonts or screen resolutions, the Y-Axis label will get cut off. Here are the work-arounds.

I have never noticed this until today; however, there are many people complaining about it in the newsgroups.

In excel for windows certain screen resolution/font combinations will cause the Y-axis labels to get truncated. This is a known bug without a nice fix.

Work-Arounds:

    1. Create a correctly formatted text box and place it where the title text should be.
    2. Change your screen’s resolution. 1024 by 768 pixels worked for me.
    3. Place a couple of spaces and a period after the title text. The period can be hidden by making the font color the same as the background.

Thank you very much! It works well now. It’s been a real pain.
