my system (completetely up-to-date XP Pro SP2 with all the security patches installed) started to hang/freeze unexplicably about once a day since i installed the KB905915 security update.

I just ran across a person who had more than one browseui.dll in the system32 folder. they said they where numbered,,, I don’t have the files to look at so I will assuming nothing.. They remove the excess and redid the KB905915 update and bingo it is back to normal..

I say I will assume nothing cause I don’t know where or what place the extra dll files.. It could have been anthing from a bad program to a trojan or virus.. And I don’t want to start a rumor cause you know how they end up……

in my case I did try IE 7 in a folder only not a full install and by removing the CLISD it fixed it for me………..
