I like AIM. I hate the advertisements. Honestly, I usually keep them enabled if I have a broadband connection (gesh, they do need to make money from their software); however, I always disable them when using a modem connection. A modem connection is just too slow to download anything extra.
Anyway, removing ads from AIM is easy… thanks to a friendly hacker.
