Trillian: How to Enable Transparency for a Window

Posted December 6, 2005 by risherz in Instant messaging

Use the following tutorial to make the windows transparent (translucent) in Trillian.

If you are chatting with someone and you want to read something from a window without having to switch between windows, try enabling transparency. It looks great and can be useful at times.

To make windows transparent/translucent, use the following steps:

1. Open Trillian.
2. Open the window that you want to make transparent. (It will apply transparency to this window only.)
3. Right-click.
4. Hover the mouse pointer over Advanced Options.
5. Then hover over Transparency.
6. Select the level of transparency you want.

Now, you can see what is in the background, and chat all at the same time.
