How to Install new themes (jar files) in Firefox
Posted by risherz in Mozilla Firefox
Installing new themes in any version of Firefox.
To install a new theme all you have to do is…
1. Unzip/Unrar the downloaded folder (of course!)
2. Open Firefox
3. Click on Tools
4. Then on Themes to open the themes window
Now also open the folder if the file is in the folder…
5. Just drag and drop the jar file into the theme window
6. Click on OK when Firefox asks you if you want to install the theme
7. Restart firefox
Now just open the themes window again and choose the theme and click on “Use Theme”. Then just restart firefox again to see you theme in action.
After that, have fun browsing with the theme that you like!

I have tried to install the Leopard lookalike ‘LeoFox’ but it doesn’t work! I’ve tried the method but it just says: “LeoFox” will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates”.
How can I fix this? Or get secure updates for LeoFox?

Make sure the theme can work for your version of Firefox and (the theme) is regularly updated to support new versions of Firefox.
