If you want to win a game of Minesweeper, this tech-recipe is for you.

Minesweeper is a single-player game that is installed by default with Windows. Although some find the game challenging, you can customize certain settings to make winning easier. Most cheats for this game involve using cheat codes. However, this cheat enables you to win without them.

To cheat at Minesweeper without using cheat codes, use the directions below:
1. Open Minesweeper.
2. Click on Game.
3. Then click on Custom….
4. Change the Height to 24.
5. Change the Width to 30
6. Change the number of mines to 10.
7. Click on OK.

Now, when you click somewhere, you are only going to see numbered squares of 1’s or 2’s. The rest are empty. You will see unmarked squares in-between a square pattern of 8 “1 and 2” squares. This unmarked square is usually a mine. So just make sure that you do not click in the center of 8 squares. You can pretty much click anywhere else.

After you play a few games, you are going to realize the mines appear in a pattern that is really easy to figure out.

Once you figure out the pattern, winning Minesweeper games will be simple.
