Yahoo BlogSearch: Search Blogs without Searching News

Yahoo has rolled out their blog search, but there is no stand alone site. Currently, you must search through the yahoo news to get the blog search feature. Here’s the command to get around this.

Yahoo has released their blog search tool; however, they are not making it very easy to use. Currently the blog searches only appear if you search through yahoo’s news search.

By manipulating the URL, however, you can use yahoo to do a blog search without using the news interface. Here’s the URL…

http://blog.news.search.yahoo.com/blog/search?p=searchterm

Just replace searchterm with whatever term for which you want to blog search.

For example to search yahoo for blog postings mentioning scoble…
http://blog.news.search.yahoo.com/blog/search?p=scoble

Now run along and see if yahoo is spidering your blog. :)
